well what a weekend,the weather was great,even the crowd was great,havnt seen a traffic jam at the pits getting out to the main road in a long time.Well we went to the track on friday arvo,set up cars,had a new set of tyres put on the statesman ready for the weekend.SATURDAY we went out for our 1st qual at 11.20am ran 12.14@58.37 after a big peddle,12.50pm our 2nd qual-7.31@194.5mph we had our mph back,3.50pm 3rd qual- 7.314@193.90mph we qual number #4.SUNDAY we had Benjes in the baretta,did the burnout went to stage only to have the oil light come on-shut it down,it was over for old yella.back in the pits we found the problem with a oil sump bolt,after fixing that we waited for a chance to do a grudge run.Back out for the grudge run with the baretta again,long burnout- into stage,old yella and the baretta ran side by side all the way only to have the baretta to take the win with a 7.214@189.52 against old yellas 7.282@193.54 what a race.

JNR Trev had a great weekend,had some great qual runs with some good reaction times,SUNDAY morning out for his 1st round and a little tense he got the win light,that put one of the tsr cars into the next round{and dont worry dad got told}out for his next round only to be knocked out,still having a great time grudge racing though.

SUNDAY MARCH 4th Meremere dragway.

this meeting surely had its ups and downs.

We are looking forward to the the big one,the nationals.

This saturday at the Howick Club,107 Botany Rd Howick

TSR cars will be there,come down and say hi and have a look,listen there will be start ups during the day – see you there.

well what a night we had a ball,old yella ran 4.70 on a 4.70 dail in,semi final we came up against Trent Smyth in the rail,i rode the centre line hoping like hell i didnt go over,off and on the gas peddle,Trent broke out with a 4.90 on a 4.98 dail in after some checking of the track and video of the centre line old yella came out with the win.up against Tully in the final at 10.45pm old yella couldnt hold on to the track and Tully got the win,over all it was a good night,just abit late for the track.Jnr Trevor got through to semi finals only to break out on his dail in.thanks to all our sponsors and crew

what a day,1st pass out of the trailer 7.29 @ 194mph a pb,2nd outing we fried the starter motor.

3rd outing we ran a 7.31 @ 191 mph.

4th outing for the day old yella ran a 7.23 @ 190mph a new pb.

Little Trevor got through to the 3rd round with some good lights,only to get knocked out,over all we had a great day for both cars,Little Trevor came away with a certificate for good sportsmanship and best appearing junior and crew.TSR would specially like to thank Chris Johnstone,Darryl peterken our crew and all our sponsors.

Fram Autolite Dragway   this Sunday  15th Jan

7th Jan  its all on for tomorrow v8s/imports come down to Fram Autolite Dragway to see old yella put it to the imports.
